Working with antique bottles collected from bottle diggers, Kate creates these unusual and personal works of art, which can be used as vases or displayed just as they are. The Process The bottles start as clear glass and are then primed and painted as a backdrop for your photograph. A copy of your photo is applied, with all originals carefully returned to you. Each bottle has a resin finish adding a luster and depth to your photograph, bringing your images to life. Bottle Shapes As every bottle is unique and often one-of-a-kind, the sizes and shapes will vary. The bottles used for each piece are chosen by how particular photos work with different shapes and are determined by the artist during the creation of each piece.
